My full name is Jason Michael Tarre, and since I was in Kindergarten, I have lived and grown up in Short Hills, New Jersey. I was fortunate to go to a well respected New Jersey public High School, and in my senior year I was accepted to Washington University in St. Louis.
The last two years I have been attending WashU, and this past Spring, something really cool happened to me. I had the opportunity to found and run a strategy consulting, marketing, and graphic design student group. I originally signed on with the intention of focusing on the strategy consulting side, but after getting a taste of marketing, I have jumped in with abandon.
This is where my blog enters the picture. At the beginning of my journey, not only did I not know much about marketing, I did not know much about this web 2.0 marketing world…and I wanted to start my own business! I have been gathering information obsessively, absorbing it, and writing about my findings and observations here. My goal is to work out my business, here, online, and to add value to this online marketing community by posting interesting thoughts.
